| Overview The 2011 Toyota Camry is the seventh-generation mid-size Camry. It has been the best-selling passenger car in America for seven years running till date and also for 11 of the last 12 years. It continues to redefine standards for performance and comfort. The Camry is offered in Camry, LE, SE, XLE and Hybrid models. Power and performance The 2011 Toyota Camry base, LE, and XLE trim levels are powered by a 169-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The higher SE trim comes with the same engine but delivers 179 horsepower. The engine can be paired with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox with sequential shift.
The fuel economy is estimated to be 22 mpg city/33 mpg highway with the manual, while the automatic dips to 32 mpg highway. To derive more performance, the Camry can be equipped with the available 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 268 horsepower. A six-speed automatic is the sole transmission choice and its fuel economy remains impressive at 19 mpg city/28 highway.
Body and styling The Camry rolls on 16-inch steel wheels with air-conditioning, auto up/down windows for all four doors, a six-speaker CD audio system with an auxiliary input jack, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, full power accessories and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat. The Camry LE is equipped with keyless entry and an eight-way power driver seat.
The Camry SE comes with a sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, and special interior and exterior styling details. The luxurious XLE cruises on 16-inch wheels and features an upgraded JBL-branded sound system with an in-dash CD changer and satellite radio, Bluetooth phone and music connectivity, a moonroof, automatic dual-zone climate control, a power passenger seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, reclining rear seats, wood-tone accents and, on the V6 model, leather seating.
