Highlander Hybrid and RAV4 Hybrid
It’s no mistake when we say that efficiency is the future, and Toyota is making the steps each day to improve on their vehicles in making them friendly to the environment. We’ve got two of their hybrid SUVs on our lot that we can’t get enough of. The 2019 Highlander Hybrid pumps out a combined 306 system net horsepower and 263 lb.-ft. of torque thanks to its 3.5L V6 engine working with the permanent magnet synchronous motor. Additionally, it will provide an estimated 30/28 MPG city/hwy1 fuel efficiency. The RAV4 Hybrid puts up just as much of a fight with its standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine working in conjunction with the multi-electric motor assist to deliver a combined 219 system net horsepower and 194 lb.-ft. of torque. Of course, we can’t forget to rave about the 41/38/40 MPG city/hwy/combined1 fuel rate!
CH-R and RAV4
Moving on to the rest of our Toyota SUV options, the smallest of the selection are the 2019 CH-R and the 2019 RAV4. The former is a compact model that will have you weaving through traffic with 144 horsepower and 139 lb.-ft. of torque, which can be credited to the 2.0L 4-cylinder powertrain. But don’t underestimate this crossover, as it will keep you trekking on thanks to the estimated 27/31/29 MPG city/hwy/combined1 fuel economy rating! Crank it up a notch with the 2019 RAV4, delivering in more ways than one. Its standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine will propel you forward with 203 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. And when you want to bring a little extra along for the ride, utilize the 1,500-lb. towing capacity2.
Highlander and 4Runner
The big boys of the bunch will definitely sate your need for speed and strength. The Highlander is a fan-favorite among the multi-taskers of the city, thanks to its sizeable 295 horsepower and 263 lb.-ft. of torque brought to you by the available 3.5L V6 DOHC system. This is the engine if you want to take reins of the Highlander’s 5,000-lb. towing capacity2. Last, but definitely not least, the 4Runner will be what you need if you like venturing into parts unknown with unparalleled strength and room. This 7-seater will give you 270 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque, which is powered by the 4.0L V6 DOHC engine. You’ll have the same amount of pulling power as the Highlander, but, this SUV will offer you a generous 89.7 cubic ft. of cargo room3 and a 9.6-inch ground clearance. So, you can take as much as you need to make for that perfect outdoor experience.

2. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions in your Owner's Manual. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. “Added vehicle equipment” includes additional standard/optional equipment and accessories added by the manufacturer, dealers, and/or vehicle owners. The only way to be certain of your vehicle's exact curb weight is to weigh your vehicle without passengers or cargo.
